FEU FOU is consisting of Lisa Mondlane, Madelyn Byrd (Slowfoam), Pia Achternkamp (l o h), and Diane Isadora Barbé. Affiliated with the Glasgow-based label Somewhere Press, this new ensemble moves between experimental practices, featuring handmade instruments (wind instruments, membranes, percussion) and the roots of punk and folk. feu fou made their live debut in Berlin in 2025, where they were charming the audience with their hypnotic dream core. After recording sessions and concerts in Marseille and Lyon in January 2026 they are back now with more swelling minimalism, broken drum machines, haunted vocal fragments and extraterrestrial instrumentation.
