tibslc is a musician and sound artist based in Leipzig, Germany. Among various self-releases she released on labels such as Sferic, Soundsupply_Service, STROOM.tv, kiiberborea, Cime Gravity Pleasure and Blush. Sculpting hazily ambiguous but meticulously detailed sounds hypersensitive to nanoscopic movements, she blends subtle environmental recordings, processed digital noise, guitar riffs and feedback with her voice. Her work is distinguished by an arcing narrative quality that emerges across its yawning spaces, each viewed by perspectives ranging from lofty, birds-eye to more intimate. tibslc performed at venues such as Cafe OTO (London, UK), Arkaoda (Berlin, Germany), Meakusma (Eupen, Belgium), 90MIL (Berlin, Germany) kwia (Berlin, Germany), festivalmofo at mainsdoeuvres (Paris, France) Living Room (Lisbon, Portugal) coclear (Glasgow, Scotland) In December 2022 she participated in a audio-visual performance work that was shown at MUTEK.
>the body that is not< traces an internally twisted state of emotional chaos. A place that welcomes sudden disturbances as much as quiet stillness - that allows indeterminate states of subjective anxiety as well as hopefulness.
