Ana Carucci is an artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. Her background is visual yet her practice is interdisciplinary. Her art reflects on the lines between the strange and the familiar, the natural and the artificial. Particularly interested in how culture relates to nature, she seeks to reveal new layers of meaning in our connections with species, landscapes, and objects. Inspired by the architecture of dreams, her works emerge from playing with language and the memory of the senses. Her current focus involves exploring the South American indigenous tradition of clay-made musical instruments. She reimagines them within her visual and sonic practice, integrating them into installations and performances by putting them through mechanical, electronic, and digital transformations. Ana's work has been shown in spaces such as Museo de Arte Moderno (AR), Museo Macba (AR), Fondo Nacional de las Artes (AR), Centro de Arte Sonoro (AR), Rota Festival (SP), and Countdown Grabowsee (DE), among others.
