Julia Santoli from New York City (vocals, electronics, object) and Lorenz Lindner fromLeipzig (synthesizer, percussion, object) began their collaboration on the Trans AtlanticObjects Speak (TAOS) project in 2019, with the first public performance in New York inNovember 2022. Further performances in the USA and Europe will follow.Both artists are characterized by their passion for exploring unusual sound production,improvisational practice, and their idiosyncratic methods of fusing objects, sculpture, andphysical presence in their performances.In the approximately 30-minute performance, Julia and Lorenz tread an acoustic as well asspatial path, moving through space from their starting situations.In this atmospheric structure, an intensive multi-layered dialogue develops in which bothartists let (the) objects and sculptures resound. It is a dialogue about searching and finding,about coincidences, personal stories, the spirit of forgotten places and the beauty of themoment.

Im November 2022 kam es in New York zur ersten öffentlichen Performance. Weitere Auftritte in den USA sowie in Europa folgen. Beide Künstler charakterisiert ihre Leidenschaft für die Erforschung ungewöhnlicherKlangerzeugung, improvisatorische Praxis und ihre eigenwilligen Methoden Objekte, Skulpturen und physische Präsenz in ihren Auftritten zu verschmelzen. In der ca. 30minütigen Performance beschreiten Julia und Lorenz einen akustischen als auchräumlichen Pfad und bewegen sich von ihren Ausgangssituationen aus durch den Raum.In diesem atmosphärischem Gefüge entsteht ein intensiver mehrschichtiger Dialog in welchembeide Künstler die Objekte und Skulpturen erklingen lassen. Es ist ein Dialog über das Suchenund Finden, über Zufälle, persönliche Geschichten, den Geist vergessener Orte und dieSchönheit des Augenblicks.
