Leipzig-based artist and DJ Valeska's sets and mixes are driven by an enthusiasm for ever-changing rhythmic structures, unheard sounds, vigorous stabs and kicks, and uneasy moods. On stage, Valeska's sets quickly shift from soft embraces to heavy hits. Her musical excursions she also undertook on tapes for Leipzig‘s Prepaid Records label and in radio shows for Retreat Radio, n10.as and Radio Alhara. She‘s part of Leipzig’s Pracht crew, Shell Tapes and the DJ collective L1CK, which traces modern currents of club music.
